To Fellow Optimists,
The Optimist Club of Crown Point has sponsored a Jr. Optimist Club for the past several years. Like so many organizations, the current leadership is ready to move on and we have not been able to find a parent to help lead this club.
We were thinking of moving the Jr. club into a school as a stand-alone club, but are open to any ideas. We maybe able to align the Jr. club with another non-Optimist club to assist with their community service.
Are there any other Jr. Clubs in our District?
Are there any unique relationships we might explore?
I really don't want to have to shut the Jr. Optimist Club down, but time and resources are scarce.
Thank you for your time and thoughts,
Paul Wellman
President, Optimist Club of Crown Point.
